Aim 宗旨:

Keeping in mind the diocesan vision of building the Basic Ecclesial Communities, this Commission is to assist in the promotion and leadership of the Chinese Language Apostolate in all parishes.

配合教区为建立“基层教会团体”(BEC)的愿景，协助推动各堂区的华文教务活动。

Objectives 目标:

To provide guidelines for the setting up of the Chinese Language Apostolate Committee/Group in parish where there is no such structure, after consulting with the parish priest and the Chinese speaking parish leaders according to the needs of that parish.

为那些尚未成立华文教务促进会的堂区，本会将与主任司铎及华文教友领袖商议, 按照当地堂区的需要，提供指导，协助成立华文教务促进会。

To provide formation to the members of the Chinese Language Apostolate Committee/Group in the Parishes/ Diocese.

为教区或堂区华文教务促进会的成员提供所需之培育与训练。

To study, discern and suggest ways and means to assimilate the Gospel values into the local Chinese customs and practices, for a more effective evangelization among the Chinese-speaking people.

将福音的价值观渗入本地华人的风俗习惯，以便更有效地向华人传播福音。

To cooperate with other Ministries within Penang Diocese and Chinese Language Apostolate Organizations from other dioceses to promote the same apostolate.

与本教区各组织及其他教区的华文教务促进会携手合作，共同推动教区的华文务。

To provide a platform for interaction and cooperation among all members of the Parish Chinese Language Apostolate Committees/Groups at diocesan level.

 为教区或堂区华文教务促进会的成员提供一个彼此对话交流与合作的平台。
