The Opening Ceremony of the Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026 at Kingwood Hotel, Sibu, marked the beginning of a significant journey of faith, unity and shared commitment among the Church and the people of Malaysia.

Day 3 of the Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026 continues with the Second Key Address by Cardinal Pablo, inviting us to reflect on the vocation of families to accompany one another in faith and life.
βA family does not have to be strong before it can accompany another family. Very often, people who have themselves been wounded are able to accompany other families with a depth of understanding that no pastoral professional might be able to reproduce.β

I Send You and prayer, we receive the Pastoral Address: Moving Forward Together as Church of
Malaysia, drawing together the pastoral pathways discerned during our journey.
As we prepare for the Salib Procession and the Missioning Mass, we are reminded that our
journey does not end here. We are sent forth to live our faith, strengthen communion and
serve the people of God in our dioceses and communities.

The afternoon session of Day 4 continued with the Missioning Mass, marking the sending forth of the participants to carry the spirit and fruits of the MPC2026 journey into their communities and pastoral mission.
